Protection Loses Paul Walker, Gains Clive Owen 21 Jan 10

Brandon Noonan’s action thriller Protection was to be directed by Simon West and star Paul Walker and had plans to start shooting in August. Now West and Walker have been replaced by Patrick Alessandrin and Clive Owen in the leading role. Protection is about an ex-Special Forces soldier battling Mexican gang members while trying to rescue a judge’s daughter.
