Tim Robbins Joins Green Lantern 11 Feb 10

Tim Robbins has joined the cast of Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern. Robbins will play Senator Hammond, a former astronaut and the father of the movie’s villain Dr. Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard).

Along with Robbins and Sarsgaard, the movie will also star Ryan Reynolds in the lead role and Blake Lively as his love interest, Carol Ferris. Green Lantern will start filming in March in New Orleans and will hit theatres in June 2011.
