News this week that Skip Woods is in negotiations to write the next Die Hard movie for Fox.
The movie would be the fifth in the Die Hard franchise. The first was released in 1988 and rocketed Bruce Willis from stardom to super-stardom. The most recent movie, Live Free or Die Hard, was released in 2007 and earned more than $378 million at the international box office.
Woods’ credits include Hitman, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the upcoming A-Team movie — all for Fox. Willis will be in theaters later this year in The Expendables starring Sylvester Stallone.
