De Niro Joining The Killer Elite 12 May 10

Robert De Niro, Dominic Purcell, Yvonne Strahovski, Aden Young, Ben Mendelsohn, Lachy Hulme and Firass Dirani have joined the cast of The Killer Elite starring Jason Statham and Clive Owen.

The story, based on actual events, follows a group of former British special forces members who are being hunted by assassins. Statham stars as a former Navy Seal who is forced out of retirement to save his closest friend.

The movie is currently filming in Melbourne with Gary McKendry directing.
