On the 25th of June, 2011 Empire and McDonalds, Jounieh branch, have gathered more than 270 participants who were dressed up like SMURFS. A giant blue cake was cut in celebration of the event.  All the participants were invited to a premiere screening of the SMURFS in 3D that would be held on August 20, 2011.
